Nice cartoon Mike. Normally I eschew (God bless you) cartoons with "morals" and "lessons" but here, I make an exception. I've always been an Arbor Day kind of guy. I just love trees. Great strip! Kudos from the "green" Gill Man known as

Hey r/e,
Thanks for the nice comments! I was drawing (no pun intended) on my experiences as a young subscriber to Ranger Rick Magazine. Back then loving God's creation didn't have nearly all the baggage it has today.
Plus, the idea of someone frantically planting things as slow growing as trees made me giggle.
