Could it be that underneath the helmet are a pencil and some gears, much like that of Mr. Mike Adair on the left of the page? ;)
Okay, this is your best PW ever (course I'm prejudiced since I actually DID own a pith helmet as a teen :) ) Buster is a gread addition! Monkeys and Dogs make any strip automatically better! Very ingenious writing too (crock crippling) love it.

Thanks r/e! I would love to see you in a pith helmet. I just think they are cool. Buster was the name of my grandparent's dog so I like to use him once in a while.
