We finally finished David's Valentine box in time for the big party at Heartland. We home school the children but they also attend a one day enrichment program each week. David wanted to be sure the kids could put their cards for him in the trunk of the car. With the gold flames this baby was a hunk o burnin' luuuuv! I'll have to post the beautiful Valentine's Day purse the Laura and Ilene made.

flash forward to david's 16th birthday and this cardboard car isn't going to cut it, no matter how many valentines it can fit in the trunk.
Who knows, in 10 years he and Rachael might even be a reality. I'm saving my 92 Accord for the little guy. On his graduation day I'll put a big bow on it and a fresh application of duct tape to the side mirror :)
